About the Journal
About The Journal
Environmental safety and security are quintessential to future sustainability. Booming global economic growth is a double-edged sword, as it enhances the standard of living, yet it presents enormous challenges for environmental ecology and associated infrastructure needed to sustain well-being for the long term. This dichotomy may be humanity’s grand challenge for the 21st century – viz. sustaining living standards and simultaneously availing the benefits of economic development to the large fraction of humanity while preserving the ecological integrity of the environment. Nanomaterials and nanocomposites for energy generation/storage and environmental applications enhance environmental improvement throughout the whole life cycle. They can minimize environmental impacts to increase energy and material efficiency and to enhance the recyclability of materials. These materials possess some of the following superior properties: energy and resource-saving, reusability, recyclability, structural reliability, eco-friendly, chemical and physical stability, and biological safety.
Aim and Scopes
The primary purpose of the journal is to provide researchers, scientists, academicians and students with the state of the art, current, and cutting-edge knowledge of achievements in the fields of nanomaterials and nanocomposites, that are used for green energy production, environmental sustainability and with a view towards global sustainable development. New and original research articles, critical reviews, and short notes (letters) are solicited describing cutting-edge and emerging innovations and brand-new research on new mechanisms, synthesis, new device designs of advanced materials highlighting:
