About the Journal

Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Research is a multi-disciplinary journal covering all aspects of Medicinal and Aromatic Plant (MAPs) Research across disciplines.  MAPR aims to provide a platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge research in the fields of medicinal and aromatic plants. Our journal focuses on topics such as the identification and characterization of bioactive compounds, pharmacological studies, plant biotechnology, and sustainable cultivation practices.

Scope:

  • - Study and research on medicinal plants
  •  - Analysis of the aromatic properties of plants
  •  - Investigation of the potential health benefits of different plant species
  •  - Exploration of traditional and modern uses of medicinal and aromatic plants

Submission Guidelines

Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Research welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to research and innovation in medicinal and aromatic plants. All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

  • Standard manuscript structure:

    • Title

    • Abstract

    • Keywords

    • Introduction

    • Materials and Methods

    • Results

    • Discussion

    • Conclusion

    • Acknowledgements (if applicable)

    • References


Abstract & Keywords

  • Abstract length: 150–250 words

  • Keywords: 4–6 relevant terms


Figures & Tables

  • Figures and tables must be numbered and cited in the text

  • High-resolution images with clear captions are required

  • Tables should be editable and not embedded as images


References

  • References must follow a consistent academic citation style

  • Authors are responsible for accuracy and completeness


Peer Review Process

  • All submissions undergo double-blind peer review

  • Manuscripts are evaluated for originality, scientific quality, relevance, and clarity

  • Editorial decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject
