About the Journal

About the Journal:

Plant, Microbe and Sustainability is a multi-disciplinary journal covering all aspects of Plant and Microbe interaction across disciplines.

Rhizosphere harbors many microorganisms and provide as excellent niche for nourishment of the diverse range of microorganisms. The rhizospheric microorganisms have the ability to acts as a front-line warrior against the pathogen attack to root. They might play a very significant and crucial role in the management of plant diseases caused by various type of soil borne pathogens as well as plant parasitic nematodes. Since the pathogens and rhizspheric microorganisms both shares the common ecological niche and influenced the plant growth. Therefore, it is bit tough to generalize the series events taking place during this underground assembly in one plane, but the recent development of sophisticated molecular tools has provided an impression on the interaction taking place below the ground level.

Hence, the aim of this Journal is to encourage the work describing the rhizospheric interactions, etiology and behavior of microorganism (sharing the common space), management strategies, and the molecular mechanisms involved against the unseen enemies.

The editors welcome high-quality research articles, communications, and comprehensive reviews addressing the fundamentals and applications of sustainable Plant-microbe interactions. Some of the potential topics include but are not limited to:

  • Plant-microbe interaction
  • Microbes and soil sustainability
  • Plant-soil-microbe consortium
  • Mechanism of interaction between the plant, pathogens and other soil microbiota.
  • Physiological and molecular changes in host and pathogens, and mechanistic aspects.
  • Production of secondary metabolites and their mode of interactions.
