About the Journal:

Sustainable Materials and Manufacturing is a multi-disciplinary journal covering all aspects of sustainable materials from synthesis to manufacturing across disciplines.  

Sustainable materials starting from polymers to composites play an indispensable role in the emergence of next-generation materials, and the 21st century is an era of sustainable materials. Sustainable materials and their manufacturing have attracted considerable interest because of the energy crisis and ecological concerns as well as the potential to substitute certain petroleum-derived materials.

The editors welcome high-quality research articles, communications, and comprehensive reviews addressing the fundamentals and applications of sustainable materials and manufacturing. Some of the potential topics include but are not limited to:

    Submission Guidelines

    Sustainable Materials and Manufacturing welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to sustainable materials research and environmentally responsible manufacturing practices. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

    Manuscript Preparation

    • Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English

    • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

    • Standard manuscript structure:

      • Title

      • Abstract

      • Discussion

      • Conclusion

      • Acknowledgements (if applicable)

      • References

    Abstract & Keywords

    • Abstract length: 150–250 words

    • Keywords: 4–6 relevant terms

    Figures & Tables

    • Figures and tables must be numbered and cited in the text

    • High-quality images and clear captions are required

    • Tables should be editable (not images)

    References

    • References must follow a consistent academic citation style

    • Authors are responsible for accuracy and completeness

    Peer Review Process

    • All submissions undergo double-blind peer review

    • Manuscripts are evaluated for originality, relevance, technical quality, and clarity

    • Editorial decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject

    Publication Ethics

    • The journal follows strict ethical publishing standards

    • Plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplicate publication are not permitted

    • Authors must ensure ethical research conduct and proper authorship attribution
